I've been teaching Viola for more than 10 years, giving masterclasses and lessons to students of any age and level. I work in a way that corresponds with individual student's needs, either it is basic posture and hand position problems, sound quality, technical difficulties in specific pieces, or understanding and communicating musical ideas. You will learn how to practice in more effective way, and how to be more comfortable and relaxed, playing viola.

Dr. Bugaev is currently Assistant Principal viola at Philharmonic orchestra of Minas Gerais, Brazil. Mikhail received his Doctorate at Michigan State University where he studied with Yuri Gandelsman. Prior to his study in the United States, he was a member of Novosibirsk State Academic Orchestra and Novosibirsk Kamerata. Mikhail performed as a soloist with Philharmonic Orchestra of Minas Gerais, Novosibirsk Academic Orchestra, Novosibirsk Kamerata, Livingston Symphony, MSU Symphony, and MSU philharmonic orchestras. As a chamber musician, Mikhail participated at Music Mountain Festival in Connecticut with St. Petersburg Quartet, at Cello Plus Festival at MSU, performed at the Lansing Symphony Chamber Series Concerts as a member of Armonia String Quartet and at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp faculty concerts. Mikhail teaches privately, as well as at newly formed Orchestra Academy of OFMG (Orquestra Filarmônica de Minas Gerais).
