So you want to be a working musician? Maybe you haven't locked in the big gigs yet and you're filled with some anxiety... will it really happen for you? What does it take to get those gigs? Are there things working against me that I'm not seeing because my other mentors didn't care enough to be real with me? I felt the same way when I transitioned from my Bachelors of Music to the big bad real world. I went into school wanting to play with orchestras and quickly realized when I left that I needed so many more skills than I learned in college. It was a rough road, but I worked very, very hard and learned a lot. Some of my accolades include playing with Troye Sivan on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, Playing solo recording sessions at Riot Games for music in League of Legends, playing with Eminem at Boston Calling, playing an album release on the rooftop of Capitol Records. These are all great jobs that stand out like trophies among a lot of other smaller gigs, gigs that still bring me a lot of happiness and help me make a living just playing music. I'm looking for a handful of aspiring musicians who want to make it in the professional world, or people who are already pros who want to move laterally in the industry. I have degrees in cello performance and contemporary arranging and producing from the bob Cole Conservatory and Berklee College of Music, respectively, along with a ton of professional experience. I truly believe that anyone can make it in the music industry, its a matter of finding your best self and being unafraid to uncover where we really are to grow from that place. I can promise care, honesty, and a very high standard. I don't require weekly recurring lessons, but rather consultations when you really need them. Please feel free to ask me anything.
