Singing with Michala H.

Hello! My name is Michala, and I have been privately trained in voice, acting and musical theatre since the age of 14 when I moved from my home to study at Interlochen Arts Academy. I have experience in tutoring English, World literature, and writing. I have won awards in song-writing, voice, and poetry, and acted in films, plays, and musicals throughout the United States. I have a background education with the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in drama and some graduate education with Harvard University studying with Tony Award winning director Diane Paulus at the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge. I have been a singer-songwriter for many years (instrument: piano) and have performed in many different venues. I also have a strong background in creative writing, singing in jazz and soul bands, as well as experience in childcare.
