    About Michael O.

About Me My family (wife and three of our seven children) live in Union Township, NJ (Pittstown). I am the Director of Higher Education with FranklinCovey. The leadership principles that I emphasize are embodied in The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen R. Covey. My professional career has been dedicated to helping develop effective individuals, great leaders and strong enduring cultures of trust in high performance organizations. LinkedIn profile. After 30 years playing professional drums with many performing groups and doing recording sessions (Jazz, Pop, Funk, Classical) I am no longer affiliated with any music group nor accepting any gigs. For 20 of those years, I devoted a lot time and energy as a drum and percussion instructor. I have taught thousands of lessons to hundreds of students. It is something I really enjoy and I also miss doing it. Now that I am no longer performing and recording and have some extra time (Due to COVID-19 limited business travel), I desire to give myself to several students once again. It would be my great pleasure to help your child become the very best musician and player of my favorite instrument – the acoustic drum set.
