I have been playing in bands my whole career, I released my first album at age 16. I have played drums in every state in the lower 48, I have toured to Europe 8 times.
I have performed professionally in these genres:
Rock, Ska/Reggae, Jazz, Punk/Hardcore, Rap, Country.
My teaching focuses on three areas Technique, Reperitoire (songs), and Theory.
I can teach from age 7-70 from beginners to professional. I am a proud Dad and I have the patience to teach your child.
Drums is my life, I have seen the world from behind my drumset and I love to share my experience with you.
Teaching Private Drum Lessons in home and in my studio.
My students have had success playing in School Bands, Church Bands, and Original Bands. Many of my students have made 1st Chair in school drumline. I have helped students prepare for auditions for music college, I have prepared students for State Music Competitions.

Couldn't be happier with the lessons our son is taking with Michael! Not only is he learning the skills he needs to actually read music instead of just playing it- it's in the style of music he loves! He isn't bored or at home searching videos online- he is actually learning and enjoying it!+ Read More
