Singing with Michael L.

I am a professional singer, actor, and teacher who has been performing, directing, and coaching professionally for 10+ years. Holding a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from The University of Akron, I take pride in the varied performing, teaching, and directing opportunities I have held thus far, ranging from singing the title role in an opera, coaching high school/ middle school students on their upcoming theatre auditions, lead singer in a contemporary pop/ rock band, to designing and running light/ set construction for local theatrical productions. I've been seen onstage at the Players Guild Theatre as Harold Bride in Titanic: the Musical, where the Canton Repository praised me as "a standout in vocals and acting alike." I've also been seen performing across Ohio as a featured soloist and chorus member of Singers Companye, on stage portraying several comedic personality types as the title role in "Doctor Miracle" for the UA Opera/ Lyric Theatre program, as well as leading music ministry members at St. Mary of the Falls Catholic Church as a lead Cantor, and at Zion UCC as the Music Director. This past spring, I flew out to Los Angeles to film a unique new YouTube mini series of short musical films.
