In general, I love music. And for the past decade, I've loved mixing it as well. Going to concerts has always been a huge part of my life and getting to play at them myself has taken things to the next level. Then throwing my own events and festivals offered me a chance to host a DJing workshop, and now my partner and I have developed an order of operations through my brand that anyone can follow when mixing any two songs on any piece of equipment at any time. My stripped-back approach focuses on perfecting the techniques and tools available to vinyl DJs when mixing was first invented; this means learning beat matching and course correction skills, proper use of FX and filters (as tools), crossfading, phrasing and timing. Once a solid foundation has been set, students will have the opportunity to implement additional skills in layers at their own pace.
