I am a professional string teacher and violin performer. Having graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Bob Jones University and a Master of Music in Music Education from Boston University, I have taught for 10 years as an orchestra director in the New York public school system. I also perform with several local orchestras including Penfield Symphony Orchestra. I have a lot of experience teaching students at all levels so whether you are a beginning, intermediate, or advanced player, I will be able to help you grow as a musician. Each lesson is tailored to your learning style as well as to your interests. Having proper technique is the foundation of good playing so this will be addressed from your very first lesson. Let me know what your goals are as a musician and we will work together to help you meet your goals!
