*** Lesson Details ***
 My lessons include proper posture, basic technique, theory, ear training exercises,  a study of the classics along with hymns, if so desired.  I typically use the Faber  Piano Method books as a basis of each lesson at least for the beginning.  I love teaching and helping students become accomplished musicians.

New Offering --- WunderKeys Preschool Piano  -- specifically designed for the very young student (ages 4-6).  There will be an additional $5/lesson charge for this lesson option.  This is an excellent way to introduce the very young to the piano.

I have a wonderful family (husband and 3 children) with whom I love spending time.  I love to sing and play the piano, and  I believe the ability to play and create music is a gift from God.  No matter what we are doing in life (going to school, playing an instrument, working) we are to be doing it to His glory!

I love teaching piano and helping students grow musically.  I am thankful for the opportunity that I have had to teach over the past 20 years.   One of my favorite quotes is from Bach:  "I play the notes as written, but it is God who makes the music."

We are new to this and did not know what to expect,; Melanie was so warm and welcoming, she was wonderful with my six-year-old and her lesson environment was absolutely perfect! She was a real professional & I would recommend her to anyone!!
