Learn how to play violin efficiently from a professional with over 10 years of experience.

Having just recently graduated college with a BA in Music and Mathematics, I have first hand experience with the transition from in-person to online violin lessons and Orchestra rehearsals (as well as other classes). I know the stress it can bring with so much being unknown, and I can provide ways to cope with that stress. I have been playing my violin privately and in orchestras for the past 12 years, watching over my instructors and learning how to teach students of my own. I strive to be a teacher that my students feel they can approach with any problems or worries they have about playing their violin at home or in school. If you think I am a good fit, I look forward to chatting with you!

    About Megan M.

Hello future students! My name is Megan, I am 22 years old and I just graduated college with a BA in Music and Mathematics. I have been playing the violin since I was 9 years old, and I have had 12 years of experience taking private violin lessons and playing in orchestras. In that time, I have had experience leading orchestral groups as well as helping my peers out one on one. If you have been playing violin for a few years, I feel that I can relate to you in the sense that I have experienced the transition from in-person to online lessons myself. I can help you feel stronger and more confident in your capabilities, giving you the motivation to push forward! If you are brand new to the violin, welcome! The violin is a beautiful instrument, and I am filled with excitement to watch you grow with it, whether in person or virtual! My goal is to make you feel like your lesson is a safe space, where you can come to me with any questions or worries you have about lesson material, orchestra music, or anything else! Everyone learns at their own pace, and no question is a dumb question! In fact, asking questions will only enhance your learning. If you think I am a good fit, I look forward to meeting you!
