Cello Lessons with a Professional Cellist and Suzuki Certified Teacher

My philosophy is to teach the student, not the concepts. I carefully construct lesson plans for each of my students, as they are all unique. For my beginner students, my goal is to foster a love of not only their instrument, but music in general. For my more advanced students who are interested in pursuing a career in music, my goal is to help them establish their ambitions, refine their skillset, and I discuss what has given me success in my career. I have experience playing and teaching many genres of cello music including, classical, hip hop, pop, rock, and country. The cello is a very versatile instrument! Please reach out to me if you have any questions regarding my teaching style, experience, and more!

Hello! My name is Megan and I'm a violin, viola, and cello teacher from Jacksonville, Florida. The cello is my primary instrument, but I have also played the violin and viola for many years. I have Suzuki teaching certification in Every Child Can!, and Cello Units 1-4 (with more to come!). I have experience playing cello for weddings, church services, in touring orchestras, and more! You can even find me playing cello with David Foster and Katharine McPhee Foster on ABC for Disney's 2022 Christmas Day Parade.
