Hi!  I've been teaching Strings (violin, viola, cello) and Music Theory for ten years.  I've taught in stores and currently teach in a private school.  

While I push my students to do their best, I am also very relaxed.  Lessons should be fun, as well as educational.  I hold my students to a high standard but am also very patient.  No matter what, students always take something away at the end of the lesson.  

I can also prepare students for NYSSMA, and have had many students who have had perfect scores.  I make sure all my students know all the scales for their skill level, as well as working on challenging repertoire.  

I can teach all skill levels and ages, from young children to adults of any age.  It's never too late to pick up a violin!

Aside from my experience teaching, I make electronic music and have composed from a young age.  I not only have a strong understanding of jazz and classical music theory but have devised my own method for teaching it to people of any age.  I like to teach my students how music works and how to count, not just work on repertoire.  Because of this, my lessons are very well rounded.
