Ear Training with Matthew H.

Welcome! Music has been a part of my life for almost 20 years. I have performed with artists such as Ledisi, The Clark Sisters, Kim Burrell, and others. I hold a BA in Music Production & Engineering from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. I have been teaching for over two years now, empowering students to reach their potential and exceed their goals. I am fluent in many styles including: Gospel, R&B, Hip-Hop, Pop, Rock, Jazz, and Latin. My students will receive ear training, music theory, and reading in addition to the study of the instrument. I have studied under some of the greatest bassists including the late Victor Bailey (Madonna, Weather Report). Students seeking instruction in music production/engineering will receive training in Logic Pro, Ableton Live, and/or ProTools. I am fortunate to have studied under Prince Charles Alexander (Diddy, Mary J Blige, Jodeci) and Jason Stokes (Outkast) among others. I'm excited to share the gift of music with you! Music is so much fun!
