Hello Future Rock Stars! My name is Matt Funamura. I'm a professional musician and music educator in the Greater Bay Area with over a decade of experience teaching all corners of the subject of music. I am a graduate of Berklee College of Music and have been teaching in San Francisco for since 2013. I am opening my schedule to inspired and eager students in the greater Bay Area for lessons on guitar, bass, ukulele, and trumpet. Don't worry if you've never played as I believe that talent can be learned, as it comes from a desire to be the best performer you can be! *** Travel Equipment for In-Home Lessons *** I expect my students to own a music stand, a metronome, required lesson books, some pencils, staff paper, and a CD player or other media device. I provide any additional lesson material at my discretion.
