I worked with children of elementary school and middle school ages to help them with the basics of their instruments. In addition, I taught them how to play some simple music, so that they could feel more comfortable playing their instruments.

I am a young saxophonist, just 18 years old. I play at a very high level, despite my age. I am currently in Hofstra University's Jazz Ensemble, studying with a jazz great, Dave Lalama. In highs school, I wasa given All-State recognition for classical and jazz music. I also won the most prestigious award at a jazz festival in Boston during my senior year of high school. I can give insight to new, modern jazz nuances that not many people would know. Also, I can teach the basics of jazz to anybody that is interested in learning how to play this wonderful style of music. Although jazz is my main area of interest, I am more than able to teach classical music as well. I have a very strong background in classical music. I am a versatile teacher, and I am ready to help any student that decides to work with me.

Hello! I am an 18 year old college freshman who loves music, most specifically jazz. I started playing music in 3rd grade, many many years ago! Now, I am a freshman at Hofstra University, and I play for the Hofstra University Jazz Ensemble. I am able to teach either classical or jazz saxophone, even though jazz is my go to. I have a passion for music, and, as a result, love to teach music. I hope to hear from you soon so that I can help you learn and understand the beauty of the saxophone!
