Matt is great! Very patient w/ our teen girl... he encourages her to try music that is out of her comfort zone, does a really great job with her.. she has progressed so much since she started working with him!

Matt is great as a teacher and absolute best as a guitar teacher we have found so far. My 7 years old daughter looks forward to her guitar lesson every week and she really enjoys the experience of learning. Matt is very engaging, patient and funny during the lesson, but he is strict as well when it comes to discipline. We are very happy with Matt as my daughter's guitar teacher.

We love Matt. My daughter has been playing guitar for almost a year now, and it has been so awesome to see her growth with this instrument. He is great with kids, and really makes it fun for my 5 year old.

Mr. Cosgrove is an exceptional teacher and able to take a student from the very beginning level through professional performance. He has created his own very carefully structured, step-by-step curriculum so the student always knows exactly what and how to practice. Most importantly, he is an empathetic and inspiring teacher who keeps students going through thick and thin.

Matt continually strives to update his teaching materials and methods using the best material in the best way for learning this wonderful instrument. He incorporates rote training exercises to help the student to be able to master the techniques found in the music being studied (It works!), and includes theory as needed for learning and understanding. He is very knowledgeable, compassionately encouraging, not intimidating, and very talented. His Skype set-up is impressive with three camera angles. (Me: older (ancient) student with piano background.)
