    About Massimo P.

    Massimo Ivan Paparello completed his M.M. in Jazz Studies at the New England Conservatory in 2021 with honors. In Spring of 2015; he completed his B.M. at the conservatory. Living in Boston, he plays an array of styles including jazz, Top 40’s, rock, funk, hip hop, folk and classical. He has studied under Walter Smith III, Jason Palmer, Ralph Alessi, John Mcneil, Miguel Zenon, Frank Carlberg, Jason Moran, Cecil Mcbee, Billy Hart, Ron Stout and Ken Schaphorst. His most current project is the “Eau de Vie” quartet. They are a brass quartet that take influence from Jazz and folk music. They have performed his original compositions and arrangements in Boston, MA and Canterbury, NH. He performed with the Jason Moran Ensemble for the Slugs’ Saloon exhibit at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston, 2019. He has performed with Dave Holland, Edward Simon, Antonio Saánchez, Aaron Goldberg, Robin Eubanks, Ran Blake, Miguel Zenón, Terrence Blanchard, Sean Jones and Donny McCaslin.
