About Mason S.
Hi!
I am a young professional musician based in Evanston, IL. I am currently the core violist in the Chicago based Fifth House Ensemble, as well as violist in the start-up Chrysalis rock orchestra in NYC. I have two degrees in viola performance from the Jacobs School of Music at IU, and a total of 15+ experience on the instrument. I also have ~10 years of experience on violin!
I have played all sorts of music- pop, rock, classical, contemporary, bluegrass, improv... you name it! Whatever your goals are as a musician, I am here to help you achieve them- regardless of level and age! I believe that EVERYONE should have the access and ability to pursue whatever musical interests they have.
