About Mason B.

(7)
My Name is Mason and I've been teaching music to students of all ages since I was 14. I originally taught at a facility near Reading, PA called Zeswitz. While I worked there I studied along side other seasoned professionals in genres like jazz, heavy metal and folk styles. Currently I run a small business. My experience, since I was 8 years old, was built on private lessons from select very accomplished and certified guitarists. I also played in several profitable bands including jazz duos, classic rock trios and currently a blues duo with my lovely wife. I'm also always building and helping local bands. I'm very pro learning and never satisfied with my playing enough to say I don't have to practice any longer. I share to same attitude towards my students. There are always new grounds to break and new people to meet especially when it comes to guitar. Like Duke Ellington once said, "The wise musicians are those who play what they can master". Thank you for considering!

Mason took his time with each of us and made the lesson quite enjoyable. I can't wait for next week. He allowed me to feel that even at our age, learning to play is possible.

Guitar and Ukulele Teacher
Feb, 2008 - PresentSelf-Employeed
I always remain flexible even when any of my students need to cancel or post pone. I offer travel, studio, and video lessons for all ages. My curriculum is beginner to advanced in most genres.
Guitar and Bass Teacher
Feb, 2010 - Mar, 2011Retail Store
While teaching adjacent to the very popular retail store in Mt Penn, PA, I gained experience in consistency and demanding student volume. This is where I can say my curriculum became a truly effective way to teach. I was able to refine my communication skills and age differentiation when it came to explaining common topics. My youngest student was 10 and my oldest was 55 while working here.
