Japanese Language: I have a B. A. in Japanese Language and Literature, which I have studied for 15+ years in the U.S. and in Tokyo. I have a strong understanding of the culture, and am comfortable teaching beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Arts: My extensive musical studies include classical voice training under Elizabeth Colson in Atlanta, GA; 11 years as a performing singer/songwriter/actress; and teaching music lessons to children at the Boys & Girls Clubs (piano and voice). I am both experienced and comfortable teaching any age level the basic and intermediate techniques of music theory, singing (commercial and classical), songwriting, acting, writing, and speaking.
