I have been teaching music privately since 2009 and LOVE to help my students sing and play their favorite songs all while becoming a well rounded musician.
We will get to the joy of playing as quickly as possible and as we go along we will fill in the music fundamentals - reading and writing music, rhythm, technique, songwriting, music theory and more. It will be a fun and enriching experience.

My name is Marye. I am a Singer/Songwriter and Teaching Artist. I sing and play guitar, ukulele and piano.
I have been teaching music privately since 2009 and I LOVE IT! I love sharing what I have learned in my own music career with my students. I love helping my students sing and play their favorite songs and provide them with the tools to create their own songs as well!
If music is something that makes you happy and brings joy to your life, I can't wait to support and challenge you in your own musical journey!
I have independently released three original albums (found on iTunes) and am currently recording my 4th album. A song of mine was placed on a Huawei smartphone in 2016 (over 10 million copies of the phone were sold that year) which has introduced me to fans from all around the world. I am so grateful for the ability that music has to bring people together.

There are piano teachers and then there is Marye. Marye is a graduate of one of the best music schools in the country. She combines yoga, psychology, singing, and digestible music theory to every lesson. You will stretch, sing, and clap your way to greater piano proficiency. Taking piano lessons from Marye is good for your soul.

I can't recommend Marye more! I've taken both piano and voice lessons with her and can say that she is the best instructor I've ever had. Her tips are easy to understand, effective, and will have you playing better right away. I'll definitely be booking more lessons with this instructor!
