Hi! My name is Martin! I am a Providence-based composer and musician with expertise in music theory, songwriting, recording, and using audio software. I have a knack for demystifying musical concepts and helping people build a knowledge base on musical concepts that are so often seen as unapproachable. I love to give students the ability to tackle musical problems with ideas from a broad range of musical styles, including rock, classical (contemporary, modern, and the standard canon), jazz, Hindustani, and hip hop, which I find equally valuable in my own work. I am very easygoing, flexible, and will be sure to modify my lessons to suit your short- and long-term needs. I have a Master's degree in Music Composition from Brooklyn College, and a Bachelor's degree in both Music and Interactive Multimedia from The College of New Jersey, and have maintained a strong interest and knowledge of both music and the technological developments that allow for innovative compositions and performances. I am very much looking forward to getting to know you and helping you achieve your goals!
