I teach piano students to be the best musicians they can be. I include a good amount of basic theory that will help them to transfer skills from the piano to other instruments as well.

I am a recent graduate with my Doctor of Music degree in Music Theory and Composition from Florida State University. I have taught music theory, aural skills, and composition there as a graduate assistant over the last three years. For 11 years prior to that, I worked as a full-time church music director. My main two instruments are piano and horn.
