I have musical knowledge gained in a number of diverse experiences: In college I studied with L.A. studio legend Michael Anthony who played on hit records in the 60s and 70s (including The Beach Boys!); After completing my degree in music, I taught youth music lessons and camps in Albuquerque, New Mexico, through a local musician-run LLC called Rock 101. I was a co-founder of bands that played various venues across the West; I played rock on multiple instruments in touring bands that played regularly at local and state-wide venues, in Austin, Texas, during SXSW, in Chicago, Colorado and more. I have since re-located to Connecticut where I teach guitar professionally. I have always valued being a diverse musician and have pursued this not only through music, but its related fields by working in event coordination and audio production. These experiences helped my personal development and have allowed me to learn where my passions lie, and what skills a musician today should develop. I love that there is always more to learn in music and that’s one of the splendors of it!
