I’m a guitarist, and teacher of the heart. I love to play with passion, and teaching becomes a joy. I like to connect with the student, hear what they want with their guitar and music, and help, and encourage them and lead them in that direction. We all have our own way that we learn best, and as we dive in to lessons as student and teacher, I’m keen on their strengths and encourage those. I like to start out teaching a student their favorite song, and show them their capable. I mix in theory, as we go, so they learn more naturally. Mark *** Lesson Details *** When we get together, in person or on the internet, we will launch right in to your favorite tune, starting off with the basics of tuning, and the strings and progress from there. Slipping in theory as we go. Depending on what level the student is, will determine the details of the lesson. Some students just need a few tips on lead guitar for instance, they're lesson details will be different than a new beginner. *** Studio Equipment *** Electric and acoustic guitars, amps, and recording equipment, and can video with ipad or phone. *** Travel Equipment *** Depends, if acoustic or electric, plus I have a portable CD player for learning there favorite music. They need a guitar. I can provide everything at my home studio, [BEST] including a guitar, but they need one of their own to practice. *** Specialties *** Jazzy Blues, Rock, finding that feeling place where expression comes from. I love to see the inner spirit of a student come out, and I encourage it.
