Hello Friends! My name is Marisa and I am a professional actress in Southern California. I graduated from the prestigious Point Park University Conservatory of the Performing Arts with my BFA in Acting and minor in Musical Theatre. Point Park is known to be a top 10 Broadway school, so I promise you are in good hands. :) I have been acting since I was six years old, and now am doing it for a living! That's the dream, isn't it? I've not only performed all around San Diego, but I've acted in Pittsburgh, Los Angeles, and Edinburgh, Scotland for the International Fringe Festival. Not only that, but I've also performed at theme parks and have a wonderful time doing so! I've been teaching and coaching students for 3 years since I've graduated and I absolutely love it. I love helping my students find pieces that fit them as the artist, make them feel confident and comfortable, and find their unique voice. Acting is all about playing pretend at the end of the day, so why not have fun! Auditions can be the scariest part of the entire process, but I specialize in auditioning and callbacks and help my students find the fun in it and not the terror. It's all about showing them who YOU are and how wonderful you are! I have experience in modern plays, classical texts, and musical theatre.
