Drums with Marisa S.

Marisa has been playing drums for over 13 years. She has also taught at School of Rock. Marisa was Section Leader her Senior Year of High School and played on the snare line for 6 years. She also played in the school's concert bands, orchestras, and percussion ensembles. Marisa has played at over 100 different venues/events. Some of these venues/events include: House of Blues, Cowboy's Stadium with Sherill Douglas (international celebrity impersonator), Dan's Silverleaf, Austin Pecan Festival, SXSW, Mango's Cafe (opened up for ex-Mar's Volta drummer Thomas Pridgen), Denton Jazz & Arts Festival, Sue Ellen's for Girls Rock Dallas, American Airlines Center (outside), etc. She recorded an album with Larry Collins (former Collins Kids star). She just recently returned from touring in LA and Colorado with Nate Hancock and the Declaration. She now resides back in DFW and plays with several different projects!
