    Marisa Fox is a soprano from Missoula, Montana. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance from the University of Montana, where she also studied acoustic guitar and piano. A multi-faceted performer, her repertoire includes opera, musical theater, concert works, country, rock, soul and jazz. While at UM, she frequented the stage as a lead in many full productions and scenes including the title role in Victor Herbert’s Naughty Marietta. She also worked her way through school as the lead singer of the country/rock band, Northern Lights. In 2016, she was named a finalist in UM’s Singer of the Year competition. Since graduation, Marisa has continued to play and teach music professionally. She currently works as a music teacher at a private daycare facility and has been cast in local shows, Jesus Christ Superstar and The Bridges of Madison County. She also freelances as a wedding performer and is a stand-in backup singer for The Jeff Hersey Jazz Ensemble.

And what a complex instrument the voice is! When you study with me, you will you learn to control and master your voice, as well as develop your confidence in many branches of life. You will step out into the world with a renewed perspective and appreciation for music, with a skill that you can literally take everywhere.
