Singing with Mariah F.

Mariah has been singing ever since she was able to. She was a part of the show choir Maryland Sings for four years, developing stage presence, learning harmonies, and dance. With that group she performed at venues like the Maryland State Governor’s house, Fort McHenry, including a tour in Canada. Mariah has performed in multiple plays and musicals, being praised “lithe, lovely and believable” by the Baltimore Sun for her lead role in Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night. Mariah was trained in Italian arias, jazz standards, and modern pop/country music. She has studied Music Management in New York and Commercial Music at Utah Valley University. Having taken voice lessons for 10 years and continuing to do so (constant training is crucial), she is very passionate and excited to help students develop their own sound. They can expect to learn how to control their voice with vocal exercises and techniques, as well as building their repertoire.
