Hi! My name is Maria! I am available to teach online and can't wait to start this learning adventure with you! I have over 10 years of experience teaching in Spanish. I learned the language as a child, and because I know the challenge of learning a new language, especially the transition from speaking English to Spanish, I am able to anticipate the areas that are usually difficult and how to overcome them. I have 17 years of experience playing the flute. I am primarily interested in teaching beginner level students. The key to being successful at learning to play any instrument is the right foundation and I can give you that. The flute is a relatively small instrument, but it requires a lot from the player to use it correctly. With me, you will learn how to breathe properly and strengthen facial, hand, arm, and core muscles. Once you have learned the basics, we can learn to play songs that compliment your own style and taste. I personally enjoy playing movie themes, jazz, and classical music. I look forward to meeting you and helping you reach your goals!
