I started playing guitar seriously at age 12, and I was heavily influenced by Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, Chet Atkins and Wes Montgomery. After being in several bands in highschool and attending the North East School of the Arts, I found that I could study music in college, so I started pursuing my Music Education Degree at SAC and am in the process of applying at UNT. I specialize in guitar technique, reading and music theory.
