Learning music should be fun! I like to include a balance of music theory, technical work, listening activities and "fun" songs in my lessons. Using the Suzuki method as the basis for my lessons, my students love learning interesting facts about the violin while also learning to play by ear so that they can learn to play that new song on the radio without having to buy sheet music.
