My lessons are very student-driven. I start with whatever level the student is on and together we work to improve their abilities. My students pick their own goals and what they want to achieve. I use my knowledge and skills to help them achieve their goals.

I’ve been studying the flute since 2007 and teaching since 2017. I love playing the flute and getting to share what I know about flute and music with my students. I have experience teaching in both group and private settings and I like to give my students opportunities to perform throughout the year. I have recently obtained a Bachelor's degree in elementary education with a music minor. In addition to music theory and flute studies, I also tutor in the elementary education subjects of reading, writing, and mathematics.

Today we talked about cleaning the flute. How it should be cleaned. I enjoyed the examples she had on when to replace the pads on the flute and how to clean every part of the flute. Great class. two thumbs up.👆

I am playing!!!! Maddison is amazing and I'm so excited to learn the flute again after 3 decades and bringing creativity back into my life as an empty-nester. Thank you Maddison! I'm still on Mary had a Little Lamb, but its a song and I remember playing at the beginning in 8th grade too. Its positive and brings me joy.
