Self

I have performed for several weddings and have experience with working in high-stress environments. Many of the weddings required intensive practices with the wedding party. I also played for a wedding where the bride and I went to a recording studio weeks before to perfect the piece she walked down the aisle to. There have been several occasions where the days of the wedding the bride comes to me and completely changes the playlist, which I successfully completed and helped make her special day come true.

Luigis Italian Cuisine

Each Saturday I had a three-hour set where I would play technical pieces on the piano. I played many different genres of music within my set list.

Bethel AME Church

I am the music minister for Bethel A.M.E. Church where I provide musical support during services. I play the piano or organ during services and also accompany the choir during practices on Fridays. I direct and am assisting the church in creating the third choir. This church gives me experience in more genres of music such as soul and swing.

Churches

Leading the congregation in Sunday hymns and also performing specials for services. I pick the hymns for each service to match up with the sermon and lead the congregation by cueing their entrance. I perform on the piano, guitar, trumpet, and voice.

Self

I have provided musical services for funerals and viewings. Playing for this type of setting requires training and empathy due to the solemn nature of the environment. Many of the songs are chosen by the musician, so careful preparation is needed to respect the environment. I began playing for funerals when I was thirteen, and am honored to have the chance to play music for families in tough times.
