As Private tutor I have worked for the past ten years with all levels of students from different musical backgrounds helping them achieve their goals. Working one to one concentrating on vocal and breathing technique, intonation, pronunciation, style, phrasing, recording technques, performance techniques, improvisation, artist development and personal singing identity.

Tech Music School

Teaching undergraduate students the vocal technique module on Bmus Instrument Techniques degree as well as the song writing module on the one year full time music diploma. Accredited by BIMM. Teaching a mixed ability class. Age range: 17-25 : Skill set required , more specific and focussed approach to each subject, feedback, assessment both formative and summative: Creative thinking: development of 1 year lesson plan adhering to curriculum guidelines for each course.

Fitzjohns Primary School

Teaching the national music curriculum to students from 8 – 11 and taught choir to 90 children on a weekly basis. Skills involved : lesson planning, creative planning, organisation, assessment - As choir master I arranged pieces for 3 part harmony and managed up to 90 children at a time.

Freelance

Writing songs for recording artists or Film or TV adverts. Songwriting trips included: Nashville, LA, Sweden and NY. All styles of music from Pop, R & B, Reggae, Pop Rock. Alternative, EDM, Jazz and unique cover arrangements. Speciality, top line writing. Cuts in Germany, Uk and the US. Oscar Nomination 'For No Good Reason,' starting Johnny Depp. Others film/ tv work include, 2 feature length Documentaries. 2 short films and assistant composing on BBC series, ' Hustle' and ' Death in Paradise'

I have written recorded, co produced and released 2 albums and 1 EP. During this process I was Band Leader and Tour Manager. This is a business that involved creative, practical, accounting, and marketing skills. I am a classical trained Harpist. I have worked with Annie Lennox, Jamaroquie, Pet Shop Boys, Robbie Williams, Seal, Natalie Cole, Jay Electronica, Mark Batsun (Aleisha Keys). Toured across Europe in large auditoriums and renowned music festivals.
