Master of Music in Cello Performance and Literature

Learn the cello, one of the most powerful and beautiful instruments.

Everyone comes to the cello for something different. It is my biggest goal as a teacher to shape a course of study that fits each student's interests and aspirations with the instrument. I have experience in a broad variety of teaching: beginner students of all ages, students exploring a hobby, and young advanced students aspiring to careers in music.

Lucas is a highly trained and highly gifted cellist and teacher. As someone who has taught alongside him, I can say first hand that he has an incredible ability to connect with students and inspire them to do their best. His love of music is infectious, and he is constantly coming up with new ideas to help his students understand difficult concepts. I cannot recommend Lucas enough as a teacher, cellist and person!
