Develop your love for piano by learning to play from an expert pianist.

I believe in preparing students to be well-rounded musicians, able to navigate any musical situation. I do this by incorporating often neglected elements of music into my teaching, including improvisation, music theory, music composition, music technology, and recording. I incorporate music from a wide variety of styles and time periods, with a focus on students' individual interests and personal goals. Above all, I aim to teach music in a way that is fun for the student and encourages them to explore, create, and discover music in new and exciting ways!

    About Logan C.

Hello! My name is Logan Cain and I am a pianist, composer, percussionist and recording engineer. I have been writing and performing for over fifteen years, and I have been teaching lessons for the last eight years. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Composition from the University of Kansas in 2019, where I studied piano with Alex Bauer and Nora Ramli, music composition with Forrest Pierce, Ingrid Stölzel, Brian "Kip" Haaheim, Dan Gailey, and James Barnes, as well as percussion with Ji Hye Jung, Michael Compitello, and Brandon Draper. In 2017-2018, I studied as an exchange student at the Folkwang Universität in Essen, Germany, where I studied piano with Ulrich Hofmann, composition with Thomas Neuhaus, Michael Edwards, and Dietrich Hahne, and percussion with Michael Pattmann. I have performed and collaborated with musicians and performers around the world, including the US, Germany, Italy, Brazil, and Australia. A link to my full bio is available upon request. Because of my diverse array of musical experience, I am able to help students with a flexible approach that is tailored to their interests, goals, and experience level. My students develop a love for piano and find new ways to understand and appreciate music, all while building a strong foundation in technique, music theory, performance preparation, and music technology. I can help students achieve their musical goals, from playing a few of their favorite songs, to beginning a career in the music industry!
