Classical Voice with Lizzy S.

Lyric Soprano Lizzy's "joy is infectious. Her ability to feed the energy of the players around her is a gift." A native of the Midwest, she was involved in professional community choirs and musical theatre productions from the age of 7. She then went on to Loras College, where she double-majored in Music Performance and Education. While at Loras, Lizzy had the opportunity to do scene work, including singing the roles of Susanna and Pamina in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro and Die Zauberflöte. Lizzy is projected to complete her Master’s in Music in Vocal Performance at Roosevelt University’s conservatory Chicago College of Performing Arts in May of 2021. While at CCPA, Lizzy sang the roles of Maguelonne in in Viradot’s Cenderillion and Mm. Silberklang in Mozart’s Der Schauspieldirektor. As a young artist, Lizzy has begun to have operatic role premieres on various stages throughout her native Midwest, specializing in Baroque repertoire. Lizzy is a devoted educator and music director who works as a general music educator and Church music director, in addition to her vocal pursuits.
