    About Lisa W.

I am professional violinist and international string coach with a doctorate in the violin performance and pedagogy and over 20 years experience as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral musician in North America, Central America, Europe, the Middle East, the Far East, and the Caribbean. To date, I have coached students from every continent in the world and judged several violin competitions. Based on my outstanding academic and professional achievements and extraordinary leadership ability, I was awarded a Fulbright scholarship by the American Government in 2004 to lecture as a String Music Performance Specialist overseas. I hope to get you to love violin as much as I do! There is a magical feeling in being able to express yourself fully on the violin. I can help you get there quickly and confidently. You just need to find the time to practice and I'll do the rest. Keep in mind that your progress is directly proportionate the amount of time you practice. If you tell me your goals, I can design a practice routine that will help you achieve your desired level. Guaranteed! Looking forward to meeting you and helping you discover who you are musically.
