Ms. Lilla holds her Master's and Bachelor's degrees from The Juilliard School with honors, and studied under Marlena Malas, vocal coach and mentor of Pavarotti.

She believes that learning music should be FUN and her unique approach to performing arts learning focuses on finding each individual’s strengths and maximizing them to their full potential.

She works towards developing confidence, healthy technique and always goes the extra mile to ensure students are excelling in their own artistic journey.

She strives to create a fun, friendly and supportive environment for students, tailoring each lesson to help students reach their goals and is passionate about developing strong musicianship and confidence, while instilling a love for music and the arts.

She’s been featured in the New York Times and has performed to critical acclaim on stage at Carnegie Hall, and has traveled across the globe with the Saint Louis Symphony, Wallingford Symphony Orchestra, Juilliard Jazz Orchestra, Israeli Chamber Orchestra and Juilliard Orchestra led by Maestro Alan Gilbert to name a few.

She received Recognition of Excellence from the Tri-M Music Honors Society, and has won several competitions, including the American Prize Competition (1st Prize), Metropolitan Opera National Council Eastern District Competition, NJ Teachers Association Competition (1st Place), and Music Teacher's National Association Competition (1st Place).

Previous roles include Lucinde in Gluck’s Armide in a Metropolitan Opera and Juilliard co-production, Susanna in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro at Opera on the Avalon, Ella Burling with the Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, Noémie in Cendrillon with Juilliard Opera under the baton of Emmanuel Villaume, Belinda in Dido and Aeneas, Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Laetitia in The Old Maid and the Thief – all with Juilliard Opera.
