I am a professional opera singer/musical theater actress in New York City with a passion for helping emerging artists find confidence and joy in their singing! As a teacher I love to keep discovering innovative ways to help students of all ages and experience levels find their unique voice. We will work together to find techniques and repertoire that meet your individual interests and learning style. It is my goal to keep students engaged and motivated to improve each week. I believe learning should be rewarding and fun for all ages!

Lianne helped me prepare for an audition for the Metropolitan Opera Chorus.  She not only helped me fix some vocal things I was doing that I was unaware of, she also helped me with the emotional and theatrical portrayal of the character.  Lianne is a highly trained and skilled singer, actor, and performer, and that all carries over into her teaching.   Highly recommend.

I have worked with Lianne off and on over a period of four years, and I give her the absolute highest recommendation! She singlehandedly changed my singing: within the first two lessons, I had fixed problems that had stunted my progress for years and gave me a new understanding of what it meant to truly relax while performing. She is knowledgeable, kind, and funny, but she'll also hold you to a standard and push you to succeed. You will not regret a moment of the time you spend with her!
