    About Leora M.

Hi there! My name's Leora and I love helping people connect to their creativity, and grow as musicians and listeners :) Lessons prioritize Fun! But are always structured. Perhaps the best gift a teacher is to remove doubt about what to practice, or whether they are improving. We make a plan together for your goals. Learning an instrument is a lifelong journey - no matter the age you begin, and my aim is keep the fire li! A graduate of USC's renowned Thornton School of Music, I teach the art of practice and tools for understanding & connecting to music that I learned myself from the best of the best. These tools are equally effective for layman guitarists who can't practice everyday and more ambitious students. With guitar as the foundation, I also love teaching ear training, songwriting, composition, and production for interested students. For children and young adults seeking higher education in music, I offer detailed preparation for auditions, etc., with first hand experience in auditions at Berklee and USC.
