Hi! I'm Laura, and I am a professional orchestral musician in the world-renowned Pittsburgh Symphony. I was classically trained at the best music conservatories and have enjoyed traveling around the world to perform at the most prestigious concert halls. Music has always been my biggest passion in life, and I love spreading the joy of music to students of all ability levels. I believe music is an essential art form to the enjoyment of life. I have 2 young children myself, ages 3 and 5, who are also studying music from me. I have taught many different ages, including those with special needs. As a teacher, I have been praised for my patience, positivity, encouragement, and dedication. I grew up in a house full of classical music, because both my parents are professional classical musicians. I have 2 brothers, and they are also both professional musicians, so music truly has been the center of my life ever since I can remember. I began music lessons when I was 2 years old, following the Suzuki method. I met my husband while studying at a music conservatory, and he is also a member of the Pittsburgh Symphony.
