Guitar with Lance S.

I'm 32 years old, and I've been playing the guitar for about 18 years. I truly enjoy teaching people how to play the guitar. I've been doing it for a while to fill some time during the day. I own a business in entertainment and I'm a graduate from MTSU with a degree in Audio Production and Engineering. From my education, I have knowledge and experience in music theory, songwriting techniques, and experience in working with various musicians. I've also played in a few bands. Having the right instructor is incredibly important if you're a beginner. Just because someone can play the guitar really well, it doesn't mean they're the right one to get you started. I strive to make my approach to teaching the guitar the same as my approach to playing in bands: keep it fun, friendly, adaptive, inspiring, and be patient. Music should always be shared between friends. So I try to keep that going with the people I teach.
