Having been born into a musical family, where music is inherently part of my DNA, I've been recognized as the top voice teacher and vocal coach in the British Virgin Islands (BVI), with all my students winning or placing in local singing competitions attended by producers and the A&R divisions of well-known US-based record labels. In addition, I am well-versed in various musical styles, often providing artists (including recording artists) with image or brand consulting, song-writing guidance while infusing my clients with my passion for music and life. In fact, under my guidance, my students have graced stages and appeared on television programmes around the globe, including Black Entertainment Television (BET). With a Bachelor of Arts in Music (Voice) in my arsenal, I am mostly classically trained in both piano and voice, with a heavy concentration in Musical Theater. I have also vocally led several bands showcasing contemporary genres including, but not limited to soca, calypso, reggae/dancehall, American pop/R&B, gospel, jazz/blues and rap. Many of my other performances have been with world-renowned orchestras at various elite venues in Northeast, USA’s tri-state area, including Carnegie Hall, NYC and the Kimmel Center, Philadelphia, PA. I have previously taught at the collegiate level and have been a proud music educator in the public school system for nearly 2 decades.
