Formerly "Shotgun the Moon Studios", I record, mix, and release audio tracks for locals artists. Job includes making the artists feel emotionally safe to express themselves, inspiring them to perform their best work even under the pressures of the microphone, and record and mix the track to transform it into that they are satisfied with.
Advanced studio management skills including debugging software Logic Pro and ProTools, signal flow, cable management, microphone placement and setup, and multitrack recording.
I write and perform songs solo, and with a band. Released a full length album called "Find Yourself", in which I recorded multiple instruments, mixed and produced the songs, and then finalized the album with Vinyl House Records. Then, I wrote and recorded a song-a-week for 12 weeks, project called "AngelGrams". Worked with producer James Gibson for this project to learn artist development.

In a 12 week challenge in which I grew as a songwriter and performer, I wrote 12 songs and performed vocals and instruments in a professional studio. This project also helped me overcome many psychological and spiritual obstacles that come with singing, hence the name "AngelGrams". Some songs were done alone, some were collaborations with other musicians in my community.

Released my first full length album in Jan 2016 called "Find Yourself". Listen now on www.KrystiSubieta.com, or on iTunes, Spotify, Pandora, etc.
Broadcast Music Inc. was founded in 1939 by forward-thinkers who wanted to represent songwriters in emerging genres, like jazz, blues and country, and protect the public performances of their music. Operating on a non-profit-making basis, BMI is now the largest music rights organization in the U.S. and is still nurturing new talent and new music.

I'm still at the newb stage with clarinet, an amazingly tricky instrument. But it's my favorite sound, and I'm stickin' with it as long as Krystina can stand me.
