Experienced musician of 25 years of flute performance. Available for eager students of all experience levels and ages! I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a love for music! My goal is to make sure my lessons are a fun and encouraging learning environment. I typically use Rubank Elementary and Intermediate books as well Trevor Wye and Taffanel et Gaubert for daily exercises to strengthen the students skills.

About Kirsty C.

I am a graduate of Immaculata University and have a Bachelors degree, majoring in Music Education and Music Therapy with a concentration in Flute Performance. I am currently a very active member of the Music Ministry group at my church. I sing for Sunday services and I play flute for weddings and church services. I also teacher with my church's Youth Religious program. I have six children of my own and have found great enjoyment in fostering their love and appreciation for music.

very good.. She appreciated what I already knew, and corrected me honestly. This in turn helped in open up to her and accept her teaching and instructions better. Gave me practice material, and gave me some very sound advice.

Kirsty is extremely knowledgeable and pleasant. A great combination for selecting her as a teacher, since I am adult with zero music experience. She is providing an excellent foundation and a fun learning experience as well.

Kirsty is an excellent instructor for my young daughter! She provides a very warm and relaxed environment. My daughter enjoys lessons with Kirsty and loves that she tailors lessons to her ability. As a beginner, she loves the flute and has made great progress in a short period of time! You can feel Kirsty's warmth and enjoyment with each milestone, leaving my daughter with a great sense of joy and accomplishment. I highly recommend her for lessons.
