Drums with Kevin S.

I’ve been taking lessons with Kevin for a little over two years now and he’s helped me learn way more than I could’ve hoped for; he works with you no matter your skill level and gives you constructive criticism on what you can do better/expand on. I’ve done everything from learning basic rudiments to practicing and improvising my own beats of hit songs. He’s extremely encouraging and very patient, qualities I believe are imperative in instructors. He can answer almost any question I have and provides resources for those he can’t (like if you have a problem with your kit or something he’d have to be there to help with; he’ll tell you what he thinks and then guide you to the right resources to make sure the problem gets fixed). Also, I’ve seen him drum live several times and he definitely knows what he’s doing. Whether you’re a beginner like I was, looking to expand your horizons or really any other skill level, I’d highly recommend Kevin—he’ll help you become far better than you were when you started and you’ll have lots of fun along the way.

I was so excited to start taking lessons with Kevin considering his experience playing arenas and traveling the world with artists. I started out with no experience and he was so encouraging and kind! He really takes the time to make YOU a better musician and performer. I recommend taking lessons with Kevin over other instructors for many reasons, one being he brings a teaching mechanism to the table no one else will. There is no one better! 10/10 would recommend!!
