Saxophone with Kevin P.

I am a music teacher based in Long Island. I play saxophone, flute, clarinet, jazz piano, in many different styles such as classical, jazz, rock and roll, and show music. I am currently one year from graduating from CUNY Queens College with a bachelors degree in Music Education. I teach saxophone, flute, clarinet, beginner piano, jazz piano, and music theory. I aim to focus mainly on what my students want to learn, whether it be learning the instrument, preparing for a performance, improvising, or simply increasing their skill. I like to mix an educational experience with having fun! My past students have all had great achievements such as perfect scores on NYSSMA auditions, being selected for all county jazz band, being selected for SCMEA, and being accepted to prestigious music schools. I will travel to you or teach lessons online, whichever is preferred! I look forward to teaching whatever you may want to learn!
