Started playing trumpet in 1964. In the mid 70’s started studying jazz with jazz trumpeter Gene Adams & performed with the African American Jazz Ensemble in Minneapolis. In the 80’s played R&B, & in the early 2000’s co-directed a jazz workshop in north Minneapolis. Mid 2000’s played in Pima Community College Big Band & their jazz ensemble in Tucson. Formed quintet playing around the Tucson metro area & recorded a demo cd in 2011.
